Sheng Zhen
        Healing Gong

All forms of Sheng Zhen Gong are healing. However,  Sheng Zhen Healing Gong is a gentle and easy to learn form that is done while seated. So, even if one is sick or injured, it can be practiced and enjoyed, bringing great benefits to the person.

This restorative medical qigong blends ancient Chinese medical traditions with gentle, meditative movements. Sheng Zhen Healing Gong is an integration of healing traditions, using the power of Nature to heal oneself.

What is the essence of the practice? The practice leads one to the original state that abides in every human being. One comes to experience the opening of the Heart and the stillness of the mind.

This form is loved by many for the physical and mental benefits it has bestowed upon them. There are 3 Stages of Sheng Zhen Healing Gong, and each stage has 10 movements. Stage 1 is for the purpose of gathering healing qi into the body. Stage 2 emphasizes the processing of healing qi in the body. Stage 3 allows healing qi to go deep into each cell of the body. Stage 1 is quite effective all on its own, and it is the foundation of stages 2 and 3. We highly recommend this practice to people who have cancer or chronic health problems.

Master Li teaches the first few movements of Healing Gong Part One, with a great intro about Sheng Zhen.

The sound track has a lot of wind noise, which gets very bad shortly after the start, but doesn't stay that way too long. It's a large group of Sheng Zhen teachers practicing Healing Gong led by Master Li. They rapidly (normally you do each movement many times, 20, 40, 80 . . .) practice the whole first part of this form.
